Ministry: Pastoral Staff
Position: Campus Pastor
Time Commitment: Full-time
Reports to: Executive Pastor
Purpose: To help connect all people to the person, power, and purpose of Jesus through Bridge Church’s Greenbrier Campus.
Job Summary: The Campus Pastor will be responsible for overseeing, growing the Greenbrier/Chesapeake Campus by meeting the key outcomes.
KEY OUTCOMES:
Will be responsible to plan and conduct Sunday worship experiences in conjunction with the main campus’s vision and guidance.
- Live Preaching (occasional video from main campus).
- Oversight of Team Leaders to ensure preparedness and professionalism for each Sunday’s Worship Experience.
- Promote and ensure the Bridge assimilation process is followed (i.e. connecting with first and second time guests, small group enrollment, etc.).
Will need to be evangelistic in reaching the surrounding community and neighborhoods.
Will need to build and develop teams to support the vision of Bridge Church and the Greenbrier Campus.
- Vison Casting.
- Leadership Development.
Will need to assist the Lead and Executive Pastors with the development of annual budgets for submittal to the Board of Directors.
Will need to participate in corporate initiatives and promote unity between campuses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and believe and operate in the gifts of the Spirit.
- Must have a call to preach and ministry.
- Must have Bible training either by formal education or equivalent training and or experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills (i.e. one-on-one, phone, written, public speaking, etc.)
- Must have organizational and administrative gifts.
- Must have excellent people skills.
- Must be a person of character, being faithful in the things of the Lord, as to not hinder his/her witness and ministry.
- Must be able to manage time well, and work without constant supervision.
- Must be a consistent giver of monthly tithes and offerings as an act of worship.
- Must possess a great attitude, sense of humor, and work in harmony with the pastoral and lay staff.
- Must have a desire to continue in personal growth and learning.
