Course Synopsis:
The Business as Mission (BAM) track explores the concept of combining business practices with a mission-driven purpose to create sustainable social and spiritual impact. Participants will learn how businesses can be designed and operated to address pressing social issues while advancing the gospel.
Through studies, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, students will develop strategies for leading and managing businesses that pursue profit and promote community development, empowerment, and holistic transformation. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the tools to integrate their faith into their professional lives and make a meaningful difference in their communities through business innovation.

The Pastoral Leadership and Ministry Track at Bridge School of Ministry is tailored for those seeking to cultivate their leadership abilities while deepening their relationship with Jesus. This comprehensive program equips participants with practical tools essential for effective pastoral leadership, including communication skills, conflict resolution, and team building. As students refine their unique gifts and strengths, they will learn how to create a nurturing and supportive environment for their congregations, fostering an atmosphere where ministry can thrive.

In addition to practical training, this track emphasizes the theological foundations of pastoral leadership, drawing insights from both the Old and New Testaments. Students will explore key biblical principles and teachings that inform effective ministry practices, highlighting the vital connection between leadership and spiritual growth. The Worship Track at Bridge School of Ministry is designed to equip aspiring worship leaders and team members with the essential practical tools needed to create transformative Sunday worship experiences. Participants will engage in hands-on training, learning how to select music, structure services, and lead congregations in a way that fosters a deep connection to God. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of cultivating a worship environment that not only inspires but also encourages authentic expressions of faith among the congregation.

In addition to practical skills, this track delves into the theology of worship as presented in both the Old and New Testaments. Students will explore the biblical foundations of worship, understanding its significance in the life of a believer and the Church. Through in-depth study, discussions, and reflections, participants will develop a heart aligned with God’s intentions for worship, enabling them to lead with both passion and purpose. By the end of the course, students will not only be equipped to enhance the worship experience but also to nurture a deeper relationship with God through their ministry.

FAQ’s:

The cost is 200.00 per class, which may be paid per semester.
Spring: 2 classes + 1 seminar (one class credit)
Summer: 2 classes
Fall:  2 classes + 1 seminar (one class credit)

Location: Bridge Church Virginia Beach Campus – 3168 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456

Days/ Time: Weekly on  Mondays from 6:30pm – 8:45pm

Seminars: Scheduled per semester on a Friday evening and all day Saturday.
